*BREAKING* Obama Picks Up Delegate, Clinton Loses One

Hey, when you are fighting for every delegate (pledged, super, automatic, add-on, or whatever!)...then I figure this deserves a diary.

Apparently, with all votes counted in OH (absentee, provisional), Obama netted an extra delegate...cutting HRC's delegate win in that state from 8 to 7. New totals: 74 (HRC) to 67 (BHO).

At this stage, that is actually a net of 2 for BHO since he gains one while HRC loses one.

And yet we care more about the firefight that is leaving McCain in the lead.

A pox on partisans (none / 0)

Look at the maps.  McCain is on track to win this fall yet we care more about petty differences than the gulf between both democrats and McCain.

I am posting this in most diaries that have a slant one way or the other.

Fair enough. I suppose I am still a little bit away from magnanimity after watching HRC pull Ayers back out voluntarily. But fight the good fight.

Re: *BREAKING* Obama Picks Up Delegate (none / 0)

For winning the state by 10%, she only netted 7 delegates.

Since Pennsylvania is bigger, a similar win there would probably net her maybe a dozen delegates.

There's a reason Obama is so far ahead: he wins landslides, she doesn't.
